Monday October 31st: Three Things I know, I Know

Starting a new weekly segment, "Three Things I know, I know" where every Monday I will provide three things I know for certain, one will be sports related and the other two could be anything.  1. If Dean Wade continues to develop, the Cavs are a title contender.  I was excited about the Cavs this season, but one of the biggest points of concern was the fact that the team was built on the offensive focal point of two relatively undersized guards. I am not taking anything away from Darius Garland or Donovan Mitchell (who has been an absolute force by the way) but the reality is, teams built around two undersized guards have not done very well in the past. Granted, those teams typically haven't had a versatile big like Mobley or an enforcer like Jarrett Allen...but even with those pieces the biggest question mark has been the small forward position.  It feels like success in this league most often relies on dominate wing play and this has been an area of weakness for the Ca...

Comparing Current NFL Quarterbacks to Popular Horror Movies

It’s Halloween! We're deep into spooky season so in honor of that, I have decided to put together a blog comparing NFL quarterbacks to popular horror movies. There have been a lot of teams that have needed to rely on multiple quarterbacks this season, but for the most part I have compared one QB per team to a corresponding horror movie...enjoy!        Justin Fields – The Happening I want to get out in front of this, I picked a good amount of M. Night Shyamalan movies, I didn’t do this on purpose, the comparisons were just too good to pass up. If you missed The Happening it was a 2008 dystopian horror/thriller starring Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel where people were inexplicably and mysteriously dying. Turns out…the plants and trees were fighting back against humanity and killing everyone. Fields is a vegan and therefore, represents the entire plant community for the NFL.                       ...
