I love the Cavs new "City Edition" jerseys


It looks like the Cavs have New "City Edition" jerseys and I love them!


I mean we have had some really bad "City Edition" jerseys in the past...

                                                  

...but I actually think the new 2022 City Edition jerseys look really cool.

Powder blue, or baby blue, or light blue...any version of a pale blue always plays with jerseys, and I think the trim gives just enough of an accent that really makes the jersey pop. I have always been a fan of simple jerseys as well. Sometimes a jersey will be too busy and it will end up looking tacky, but keeping a simple, clean design always plays. 

These Cavs jerseys incorporate both those checklist items for me. Light blue, and simple. 

I will be honest, I am not sure what the significance is to the light blue trim, but regardless, I am a fan of it!

Declaring War on Duck Donuts

Never heard of Duck Donuts?  Consider yourself lucky.  I've had their donuts a couple times before and in all honesty...pretty good. The relatively small chain provides a range of customizable donuts. Again, as far as quality goes these donuts are bomb...no pun intended on the above image. Having said that, FUCK DUCK DONUTS.  The source of my hatred comes from an event this past Sunday September 18th 2022, a day that will live in infamy for the water-bird pastries. My wife and I stayed the night at my brother, and his wife's place and in the morning I offered to order donuts for everyone. I placed an online order with the Fairlawn location. Order went through, I received a confirmation for my order and a pick up time of 9:04am was sent to my email. When I arrived at Duck Donuts there was a sign on the door that said "Closed Today Due to Short Staffing." Annoying? Yes. Beau Gannon's Gossip Girl Recap - Episode One

Good people of the internet, I am asking you, to follow me, a 32 year old man, as I embark on a journey through one of television's most decorated, respected,  poignant examples of a late 2000's teen drama...Gossip Girl.  I have never watched Gossip Girl before this, and I know nothing about the show. Found out yesterday that Blake Lively, Tony Romo's brother-in-law, Cindy Lou Who, John Tucker's brother, and the girl from a Netflix movie (The Weekend Away...bad movie) are all in this show.  My initial reaction? I'm going to love it. Is it good? Verdict is still out on that...but regardless I am going to love it.  Here is my reaction to episode one:  I am team S. S is Serena, but Gossip Girl calls her S, and I want to remain canon.
